The Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) is now accepting applications for their 2025 Attorney General Fellowship Program.
This is a two-year, entry-level placement for six law school graduates. The students eligible to apply will be completing their final year of law school during the 2024-25 academic year and will graduate by June 2025. Selected Fellows will begin their placements in September 2025 and end in August 2027.
The Attorney General Fellowship has a designated Program Coordinator (PC). The Program Coordinator is a skilled attorney at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. The PC has experience training and mentoring law students and junior attorneys. They support the Fellows, ensuring they receive the training, supervision, and experience to succeed.

Applicants will also be asked to indicate their location preferences. For 2025, the OAG has placements in Albany, Poughkeepsie, and New York City.
