🚨Space Heaters Can Keep You Warm, But Let's Make Sure We Use Them Correctly!

➡️Keep heaters at least 2 feet away from anything that can burn (laundry, carpeting, papers, etc.)
🚫NEVER use extensions cords. Plug your heater directly into the wall and ensure that the cord is NOT damaged
👀NEVER leave a heater unattended or on while sleeping
✅Ensure smoke alarms are installed and working correctly

At 18:06 Central Islip Fire Department was activated for an automatic alarm at 59 Peters
Boulevard. Upon arrival the Chiefs observed heavy smoke from the front of the structure and COD Plotino transmitted the working fire.
Members of the Hook & Ladder Co. 1 took in the Mack Rescue 3-7-15. Once Truck company was on scene they were tasked to open up the garage & vent the dwelling.

Today is the day our carnival opens and runs through Sunday night. Please come out and see us ride some of the rides and grab some 50/50 tickets which will be pulled on Sunday night after closing. Hope to see you all there!!!
