Since arriving to the United States from El Salvador in 1980, education has been of great importance and relevance in Jorge’s life and family. Jorge has a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College. Jorge has been active in the Town of Islip with different non for profit organizations oriented to family values and businesses. Jorge envisions a Town of Islip truly represented by minorities!

Councilman Guadrón attended the Grand Re-opening of Bella Cucina Pizzeria & Restaurant located at 424 Montauk Hwy in West Islip.

As founder and former President of the Salvadoran American Chamber of Commerce, ribbon cutting ceremonies are dear and near to Councilman Guadrón’s heart. Bella Cucina Pizzeria & Restaurant was forced to close for months after a fire broke out.

Now beautifully renovated, Bella Cucina had its Grand Re-Opening offering a cozy ambiance, delicious menu at modest prices. We wish them great success.

It's with great pleasure and honor that I attended in support of Uplift Our Towns and The Accountable Village Group's first annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at Roberto Clemente Park.
After years of renovations and clean up, this park is used by the community which suffered the most while its closure.
