Quilts 4 Kidz Quilts 4 Kidz, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.

Our community-based outreach provides handmade comfort quilts to children facing life-threatening illnesses, abuse, neglect, trauma, & hardship throughout our local community. With so many of our children feeling alone, unloved, insignificant & hopeless I believe unless we as a community seek ways to change this we will continue to see more crimes, gangs, abuse and worse of all more victims amongs

t our children. I believe with the community's efforts Quilts4Kidz can provide a quilt for warmth, a sense of worth and most of all the feeling & belief that they are important and that they too can make a difference in our community.

💛✂️ Volunteer Appreciation Shout-Out ✂️💛

Thank you to Jennifer and Beverly for spending 1½ hours cutting backing and batting for six quilts that are now one step closer to reaching children in our local community.

As we continue working to fill our quilt cabinet with comfort and hope, every quilt begins with volunteers willing to help behind the scenes. Jennifer and Beverly prepared all six quilts for the LongArm quilting stage, bringing us closer to wrapping six children in warmth, love, and encouragement.

The quilt tops may get the attention, but it’s the many hands working together that transform fabric into something a child can hold onto during a difficult time.

Thank you both for helping us fill the cabinet—and the hearts of local children—with comfort.

💛🧵 A Story of Compassion, Commitment & Hope 🧵💛

Some of the greatest acts of kindness happen quietly.

Jeffrey and Patricia have faced more than their share of health challenges and life's obstacles. Yet month after month, they continue to look beyond their own circumstances and ask a simple question:

"How can we help?"

Through their faithful monthly donation of $200, they help provide materials, cover operating expenses, and often fund the creation of a comfort quilt for a child facing illness, trauma, abuse, neglect, or hardship.

What inspires me most isn't the amount they give—it's the heart behind it.

Even while navigating challenges of their own, they remain committed to helping children they may never meet. Their generosity is a beautiful reminder that changing a life doesn't require perfect circumstances. It simply requires a caring heart.

At Quilts 4 Kidz, every donation makes a difference. Whether it's $5, $20, $50, $200, or a gift of time and talent, each contribution becomes part of something bigger—bringing comfort, hope, and love to children when they need it most.

💜🧵 The Ripple Effect of Kindness 🧵💜

Last month at our Quilt Show, I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing quilter who stopped by our Quilts 4 Kidz display. She took home one of our quilt kits and offered to help.

Just a few weeks later, she returned with a beautiful completed quilt top made from that kit. As an added surprise, she also donated another quilt top she had previously made that had never found a home.

Because of her generosity and talent, two lucky children will receive handmade quilts filled with comfort, warmth, and love. 💙

This is what community is all about. One quilt kit, one willing volunteer, and two more children who will be wrapped in kindness during a difficult time.

Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, and heart. Your gift reminds us that every quilt begins with fabric, but it becomes something much greater when stitched together with compassion. ✨

Catching up on some well-deserved thank-yous!

A special thank you to Debbie, owner of Country Quilts, for her generous donation of much-needed fleece along with beautiful 108” black cotton backing fabric.

These materials may not always be as visible as a finished quilt, but they are essential in helping us transform quilt tops into completed comfort quilts for children facing illness, trauma, abuse, neglect, and hardship.

Every yard of fabric and every piece of fleece helps us stretch our resources further and reach more children in need of comfort and hope.
