Jackson County Fire District 3 understood the assignment: end-of-year Field Day = maximum joy. 🚒💦😄
Thanks for the surprise, Mae Richardson 3rd graders are still smiling!

Mae Richardson’s 3rd graders wrapped up their Twin Creeks Field Day with an epic cool-down thanks to Jackson County Fire District 3. The squeals say it all.

Tonight, Crater Theatre took center field. 🎭⚾️
Their voices kicked off the Rogues game with a National Anthem that had the whole crowd listening. 🇺🇸👏

Way to represent, Emma Slaughter, Emma Conner-Coash, Peyton Kennedy, Marleigh Poteet, and Reagan Weaver!

Hanby Huskies took learning on the road (and straight into the fun zone) at Rogue X! 🐾💙🖤

Our 6th graders got to explore, play, and make memories together — the kind of day that reminds you school is about connection as much as it is classrooms. High-energy, big smiles, and plenty of “did you SEE that?!” moments. 😄🙌

When we say community, we mean this. 🫶🥫
Patrick Elementary families and community members came together and collected 1,151 food items—all to help support summer meals for students across D6.

And can we talk about the friendly class competition?! 😄
🏆 Mrs. Laeger’s class took the top spot and earned an extra session at Big Air Day (yes… the kids are still cheering). 🎉

Thank you for turning generosity into action. 💛

Meet Jordan Kloke, the 2026 Valedictorian of Crater High School!
As graduation approaches, Jordan is preparing to begin an exciting new chapter at Oregon State University, where he plans to major in Mathematics. Looking even further ahead, Jordan hopes to earn a PhD in Mathematics and pursue a career as a college professor, sharing his passion for learning and problem-solving with future generations of students.
Throughout his high school career, Jordan has been an outstanding example of academic excellence, dedication, and balance. He graduates with an impressive weighted GPA of 4.26 and has maintained a GPA above 4.0 during all four years of high school. Jordan challenged himself with a rigorous academic schedule that included AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, AP U.S. History, AP World History, AP Psychology, and AP Calculus. His commitment to learning earned him recognition as a Rotary Student of the Month and established him as one of Crater High School's top scholars.
Beyond the classroom, Jordan has been actively involved in athletics and extracurricular activities. He has been a member of the Crater golf team for three years, earning the distinction of holding the highest GPA on the team, and has also competed in basketball. Additionally, he has been a dedicated member of the Math Team, where his enthusiasm for mathematics and analytical thinking has continued to grow.
Jordan has also demonstrated a commitment to service by volunteering with the local fire department to complete his Sparrow hours. His willingness to contribute to his community reflects the humility and character that have become hallmarks of his success.
When asked who has had the greatest impact on his life, Jordan immediately points to his mother, whose support and encouragement have allowed him to focus on the things he loves most. He also expressed deep appreciation for the entire Crater High School math department, crediting their passion and dedication for helping him develop a genuine love of mathematics.
One of the lessons Jordan has learned throughout high school is the value of persistence and continuous growth. His accomplishments are the result of years of hard work, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge himself both academically and personally.
Jordan represents the very best of Crater High School through his commitment to excellence, service, humility, and leadership. We are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and look forward to seeing the impact he will make in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Jordan Kloke, on being named the 2026 Valedictorian of Crater High School!

Tuesday our graduating class took one last lap through the hallways that shaped them. 🧡🖤
Warning: this video may cause happy tears. 🥹🎓
Our Class of 2026 went back to their “original campuses” today—running playgrounds like it was first recess again, handing out high fives like candy, and getting the best hugs from the teachers who knew them way back when.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better… someone started a dance-off. ✅

They visited their elementary + middle school classrooms, reliving the tiny moments that turned into big growth—one recess, one lesson, one kind adult, one brave step at a time.

Tonight they walk the stage. Yesterday they walked their story. 🎓✨We couldn’t be prouder.

06/03/2026

One last sunset. One last run-around-on-the-field-like-it’s-elementary-recess moment. 😭🌅
Senior Sunset = the perfect reminder that growing up doesn’t mean you stop being a kid… it just means you’ve got a cap and gown waiting. 🎓✨

Class of 2026… tonight is the big day. 🧡🖤
