The Veterans Fourth of July Parade Committee is proud to announce Tammy Guidish as the 2026 Fourth of July Parade Grand Marshal!

Tammy served in the United States Air Force from 1992–1995 as a Weather Observer at McConnell Air Force Base and has continued her commitment to service through her leadership and involvement in numerous community organizations. She currently serves as Junior Vice Commander of Centralia American Legion Post #446 and is an active member of the DAR, Lions Club, and Christian Women's Fellowship.

Her dedication to veterans, community service, and patriotism makes her a deserving choice to lead this year's parade.

Please join us in congratulating Tammy Guidish, Grand Marshal of the 2026 Fourth of July Parade!

Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, at 1:15 p.m. as we officially celebrate the opening of the new pavilion at Laura Leake Park!

This exciting addition was made possible through funding from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources' OSLAD Grant Program, along with the hard work and dedication of several local contractors and City employees.

We are thrilled to see this project completed just in time for the upcoming Centralia Juneteenth festivities and look forward to seeing the community enjoy this beautiful new space for years to come.
