Halloween fun is just around the corner! Today, our staff and individuals enjoyed a trip to Walmart to pick out ingredients for the delicious snacks we’ll serve at next week’s party. With beautiful weather, it was the perfect afternoon to get outside, shop together, and prepare for our upcoming celebration!

Yesterday, our individuals and staff enjoyed an up-close visit with many wonderful animals at Rainbow Ranch Petting Zoo. Beautiful weather made the outing even more enjoyable, including a sack lunch together. This annual excursion remains one of our favorite trips. Special thanks to Alan Blumhorst for hosting us.

We enjoyed the beautiful fall weather with a visit to Country Kids Pumpkin Patch in Hoyleton.

We experienced so many things to do and had a wonderful time. Everyone even received a pumpkin to take home.

Weather was spectacular and we hope to come visit again soon.

On Friday, we enjoyed the beautiful weather and a great morning with the Kaskaskia College Blue Angels Soccer Team and Coach Joe Basch. Coach Basch invites our group out for a morning of exercise, learning and friend building each year. We hope to come see the Blue Angels in action this fall.

What a beautiful day for baseball! Today, we traveled to GCS Credit Union Ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies, to watch some college baseball. One of our individuals caught a game ball, another received a T-shirt, and we even had a special visit from the Grizzlies mascot! A big thank-you to our staff for taking such an energetic group of baseball fans out for a fun-filled day!

Some of our individuals in the DT1 Program enjoyed a pizza party from Dominoes today! Larry won the party by participating in KIBU Bingo and won! Over 1,800 people frpm across the US particiapted. We were so excited for Larry and he was able to share his winnings with everyone in his classroom.
