What a great day at Jordan Elementary! 💚

Students enjoyed an exciting Field Day, while Play Day in the Jordan Activity Center Gym featured three awesome bounce houses full of fun and laughter! Students also enjoyed delicious treats from the American Ice Cream Truck and fresh fruit in the cafeteria.

A huge THANK YOU to the Jordan PTO for sponsoring today’s Field Day and Play Day activities and helping create special memories for our students!

Maliyah, a 2nd-grade student in Mrs. Stroud’s classroom, used the Class Dojo points she earned this year to purchase a special opportunity to “Read a Book to the Principal!”

She selected the book Nancy Clancy, Secret Admirer, and read a chapter aloud to Mr. Bland. Since it is a chapter book, she shared the first two chapters during their time together. Maliyah did an excellent job reading with confidence and expression!

Mr. Bland enjoyed the chapter so much that he now wants to read the entire book! Great job, Maliyah — we are proud of your hard work and love for reading! 📖💚

Congratulations to Krezny and LaVeaha in Mrs. Stroud’s class for earning a Squishy Butter for maintaining 100% positive Dojo points all year! What an awesome accomplishment! 🎉👏

☀️🔍 This month’s Expectations Celebration was our “Summer Scavenger Hunt!” Students who qualified had a blast searching for clues and completing a scavenger hunt throughout the school building. Students also enjoyed a refreshing water bar with a variety of fun drink flavors.

A special thank you to Mrs. Jodie Witzel and Mrs. Annette Nattier for organizing this fun and memorable event for our students! 💚
