Just a friendly reminder that we're giving away FREE hotdogs tonight from 5-7 PM at the Fire Department!

While you're there, be sure to stop by our t-shirt table and say hello. They'll be selling t-shirts as a fundraiser to help purchase supplies for this year's school fire safety program. $25.00 per t-shirt!

We're excited to announce a special opportunity to support our local fire department! We'll be selling t-shirts during the Covered Bridge Days on July 18th and 19th.

All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will go directly towards purchasing essential supplies for this coming year's school fire safety program, including books, hats, and stickers for the kids.

The shirts are $25.00 each and will be available at the following times:

* **Friday, July 18th:** 5-7 PM during the firefighter hot dog giveaway.
* **Saturday, July 19th:** 6 PM before and during the parade downtown in front of the fire department.

Don't miss out! Shirts will be available only while supplies last.

We want to give a massive thank you to everyone that came out last night and showed their support! We also want to give an even bigger thank you to all of the amazing people that helped put this event together for us! None of this would have been possible without their help!

Last night 10/17/24 around 7:05pm Centreville Fire responded to a large straw fire along Schweitzer Rd in Nottawa Township. There were approximately 220 large square bales of straw that caught fire along side the roadway. Each bale weighted around 900 pounds and it took approximately 180,000 gallons of water to extinguish. We want to give a huge thank to you Mendon Fire Department, City of Three Rivers Fire Department, Colon Fire Department, Kelley’s Excavating and St. Joseph County Road Commission for their help. All units cleared the scene around 1:45am

On 9/14/24 we will be doing a controlled burn (weather permitting) of a couple crp fields on Shimmel Rd near Sauger Lake Rd around 8am. Please use caution if traveling through this area Saturday morning.
