📣VOTER IMPACT ALERT & CALL TO ACTION📣

The Trump administration and the GOP are doing everything in their power to mount an all out assault on free, fair and secure elections. Now, they are coming after your right to RECEIVE a mail-in ballot.

The USPS has proposed a rule that will affect your ability to vote by mail. Under the newly proposed USPS rule, states must submit lists of voters requesting mail-in ballots, along with personalized barcodes assigned to each ballot. Only voters included on the final participation list would be eligible to receive mail-in or absentee ballots. This is unconstitutional overreach that turns your local mail carrier into an untrained election official.

There is still time to stop this draconian, disenfranchising insanity. In addition to the lawsuits that have been filed by voting rights organizations, the USPS is accepting public comment until July 2nd.

If you haven't been following local township meetings for a while, you may have missed all the hubbub about bird town. No worries, Jen at Connect Chadds Ford has a detailed update complete with a breakdown on where each township supervisor stands on the issue.

Notice our "representative" only talks about populist issues during an election year. The rest of his time is spent cavorting with lobbyists and accepting $15K donations from bankers in New Jersey with family ties to the Retail Sites location on Ridge Rd.

The power-guzzling behemoths already dotting the landscape and in process remain at the top of the public agenda. “Ratepayers should not subsidize infrastructure buildout for multi-billion-dollar corporations,” says a local Republican.

It's time we take a page from his pamphlets. Democracy only works when we show up and in PA, that means twice a year, every year.
