The members of the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department give countless hours responding to emergencies, serving our community, and training to provide the best care possible. Behind every responder is a family making sacrifices too — holding down the fort at home, missing holidays, dinners, and time together so their loved one can answer the call.
Now it’s our turn as a department and community to support one of our own.
The Bronson family is currently facing a difficult medical battle, and we want to come together to help lighten the burden during this challenging time. To support the family, we are raffling off a Traeger Grill, with all proceeds going directly to benefit the Bronson family.
🎟 Tickets: $20 each
📅 Drawing Date: Tuesday, July 14
📍 Winner will be contacted directly
Cash and checks are accepted.
(Checks can be made payable to Terry Bronson.)
To purchase a ticket, please reach out to a Chadron Volunteer Fire Department member or send us a message on Facebook.
Thank you for supporting one of our fire department families and showing what community truly means.

A big thanks to Ace Hardware in Chadron for helping us the Traeger to raffle!

Good team and another resource in the tool box to use. Appreciate the help

A lightning-caused wildfire known as the Pre Cinco Fire was quickly contained near Chadron thanks to an aggressive response from local and state firefighters. The NEW Nebraska Forest Service fuels management crew assisted with suppression and mop up efforts alongside the Nebraska SEAT aircraft program. The fuels crew is part of expanded wildfire response capabilities supported through more than $24 million in federal grant funding for wildfire mitigation and hazardous fuels reduction projects across Nebraska.
