September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, honor those facing ovarian cancer, remember those we have lost, and stand beside those continuing their healing journey.

Behind every statistic is a person. A family. A story. And no one should have to face cancer alone.

Through Circle of Light, our community comes together to provide support to local individuals navigating cancer and the challenges that can come with treatment.

Every purchase helps support this year’s Brake for Breakfast event, and proceeds from the shirt fundraiser will benefit Circle of Light, helping cancer patients and their families throughout our region.

🧡 Appendix Cancer Awareness | Know the Signs

Appendix cancer is rare, but awareness still matters. Because symptoms can sometimes resemble other gastrointestinal conditions, knowing your body and talking with your healthcare provider about persistent or concerning changes is important.

This month, Chadron Hospital and Circle of Light are helping raise awareness and reminding our community that awareness starts with knowing the signs.

For individuals and families facing cancer, Circle of Light is here to help. Through the generosity of our communities, Circle of Light provides financial assistance to cancer patients throughout our region, helping ease some of the financial burdens that can come with a cancer diagnosis.

The 5th Annual Bill Schleuning Memorial Poker Run was a tremendous success, raising $1,680 for Circle of Light.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support of Miss Chadron & Miss Chadron's Teen Pageant- Miss Chadron Teen, Anna, and Miss United Universe, Brandi Babin, who joined us in helping raise funds for local cancer patients. Their dedication, energy, and passion for giving back made such a meaningful impact on this year’s event. 💜

Because of their support—and the generosity of our amazing community—we may have raised more than ever before. What an incredible reminder of what we can accomplish together.

One of the most special traditions of the night is “Hope the Pig.” Throughout the live auction, Hope is passed around and filled with donations before being auctioned off as the final item of the evening. This year, Hope brought in an amazing $3,400!
