Just some quick things to say before we all meet up tomorrow:
This is a completely peaceful demonstration, anyone acting in an aggressive or disrespectful way will be politely asked to leave. Please stay civil.
We are still in the middle of a pandemic so masks will be required (some will be available for you at the clocktower). Please use your discretion and keep up with the rules of social distancing to the best of your ability.
Signs are encouraged! Bring signs, art, writings that contribute to the cause, whatever you think will enrich and engage the people around you. Open the discussion up.
Stay hydrated! Bring water and snacks if you can. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Don't forget sunscreen and bug spray, you will be outside in the hot sun.
In the chance that "counter protesters" make an appearance please do not engage with them, they are there to incite chaos and to discredit the movement.This is not a riot, don't let anyone try and turn it into one. Stay focused on the cause and the goal at hand. Stay steadfast.
We are here to ensure that the voices of the unheard are heard. We are here for change. Thank you so much.
