🇺🇸 Week Recap at Chadron State ROTC 🇺🇸
Spring Break is over, and our cadets wasted no time getting back to work. Here’s what the War Eagles accomplished this week:
🔹 2nd Annual Leader Reaction Course (LRC)
We hosted the CSC Football Team for our 2nd annual LRC—12 teams tackled 6 challenging lanes focused on teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. Our cadets supported the event by volunteering, running, and leading each lane while evaluating performance and keeping the lanes moving.
🔹 Land Navigation Training
For the first time, we conducted land navigation training out at Chadron State Park. Cadets got hands-on reps during the day, and Cadets Lancaster, Goodwin, Walters, Burgess, and Hutchings took it a step further—returning for optional night land nav training to sharpen their skills.
🔹 Community Service
Cadets Burgess and Gonzalez volunteered their time at the VFW/American Legion, helping serve and support the weekly Thursday night dinner. Proud to see our cadets giving back to those who have served before them.
🔹 Sector Sketch Training (MSII)
Our MSII cadets took advantage of the great weather to train on sector sketches on campus, building foundational tactical skills.
🔹 4-Mile Ruck March (PT)
We closed out the week with a 4-mile ruck, building endurance, resilience, and reinforcing the standard.

This week was a great example of what ROTC is all about: Leadership. Training. Service.
