She enlisted as a 92G (Food Service Specialist) with the 854th Quartermaster CO in Sioux Falls, SD. She will be a senior at Kimball High School this upcoming school year. With her college covered and a $350 GI Kicker, she’s set up for success with whatever her future brings. It was an honor to help her join our great organization. I know she’ll do great things for the Guard!

Steven will be heading to Fort Jackson for basic training in August. I’m thrilled to have played a part in his journey and know he’ll make us proud!

She’s stepping into the role of a 68X (Behavioral Health Specialist) with the 730th AREA MED SPT CO in Vermillion, SD. With her college covered and a $350 GI Kicker, she’s set up for success. Thrilled to have her on board. I know she’ll do amazing things!

I'm proud to announce the newest member of the South Dakota Army National Guard, Marshall, Dog Eyes!

After heading to Fort Jackson for basic training in May, Marshall plans to use the skills and GI Bill benefits of the Guard to pursue his dream of owning his own contracting company. I'm thrilled to have played a part in his journey and know he'll make us proud!

Yesterday, I visited Cherry Lane Academy's preschoolers for community helpers week and had a blast! We talked about the National Guard's role in serving our country and local communities in South Dakota. Trying on gear was definitely a highlight for the kids!

Xavier joined as a 91D (Power Generation Equipment Repairer) for the 665th Support Maintenance CO in Mitchell, SD. Along with getting his college paid for, he will receive a $20,000 enlistment bonus along with a $350 GI Kicker. It was an honor to help him become a member of our great organization. He has a bright future and I know he will do great things for the Guard.

Kaitlyn joined as a 92F (petroleum supply specialist) for the 200th EN CO in Pierre, SD. She will receive a $20,000 enlistment bonus along with a $350 GI Kicker. It was an honor to help her become a member of our great organization. She has a bright future and I know she will do great things for the Guard.
