REMINDER! We will need the Heavy Use Tax Form 2290 from the IRS when we license your trucks. Any vehicle that has tonnage over 27 tons will need the Form 2290 stamped by the IRS.

Absentee Voting is to begin on Friday April 17 but due to the many petitions on the state level that need to be certified and challenges to some of the petitions turned in our ballots are being delayed. We are trying hard to meet that deadline but there are challenges. Please call ahead before making a trip to vote. As always please bring your photo ID to vote!

Treasurer's Office Hours 8am -4:30pm
Taxes are due by April 30, 2026. You can mail your taxes in, but you will need to get the correct postmark. With changes in the postal system, you will need to mail your payment a few days before the April 30th deadline. If you don't receive the correct postmark, interest will be charged. You can go to brulecounty.gov
-Equalization>GIS to view the property report for your tax amount.
