Speaker: Marc Roberts and his two sons Tom and Sam will give a presentation an how all this equipment assist in the making and repairs of timepieces, Their presentation is titled 3D Technology for the Hobbyest Marc has always appreciated anything old and mechanical. Things in need of repair have followed him home, leading to projects involving building renovations, vintage cars and airplanes, tall case clocks and American pocket watches. Note: I’ve seen this presentation, this is a fascinating presentation on the capabilities of what is available to the horologist.

One Tower Clock that probably didn’t make it.
Significant parts of the 143-year-old Limoges Town Hall in France have been destroyed in an arson attack, as protests broke out across the country over the weekend.
On 17th October, Limoges Town Hall was set on fire. Videos taken by people on the ground show its slate roofs ablaze and its central bell tower collapsing.
Designed by French architect Charles-Alfred Leclerc, the neo-Renaissance Limoges Town Hall was built in 1883, it survived two World Wars.
