Last night, your firefighters trained on nozzle-forward hose advancement drills, focusing on moving hoselines efficiently through a variety of real-world scenarios. Crews practiced advancing lines upstairs, downstairs, and through obstacles designed to simulate the challenges faced on the fireground.
Each evolution presented unique obstacles that firefighters worked through as a team, sharpening their skills and reinforcing the importance of making every second count when lives and property are at stake.

Tonight, your Eastern Prairie firefighters focused on hose deployment training, working with hoseload operations and proper loading techniques. Members practiced pulling preconnects, advancing lines, and repacking hose to ensure everything is ready for the next response.
Hands-on training like this builds speed, teamwork, and muscle memory—so when seconds count, your firefighters are prepared to respond safely and effectively for our community.
