This is our newest educational program offering classes for the senior stage of life and helping attendees feel empowered about their healthcare. This class is offered every Wednesday, August 19th – September 23rd, 1-3pm at CRIS Healthy Aging (4116 Fieldstone Rd.). Participants will have the opportunity to meet new people and interact with them on many aging topics including Healthy Lifestyles, Risk Factors to Side-Step, Medications to Avoid, Simple Tools to Empower Seniors, and Celebrating your Senior Lifestyle.

We are excited to announce that Samantha Rogers, Memory Support Program Specialist, has been selected as the May 2026 All-Star at CRIS Healthy Aging. Samantha works diligently to support and educate family caregivers who care for a loved one with memory loss and has built strong connections to her clients through her kindness and encouraging words. Sam is currently leading 3 evidence-based classes at CRIS – WISE in Champaign, Wits Workouts in Catlin, and Stressbusting in Danville – leading her peers to recognize her dedication and time management in balancing her various responsibilities. Samantha is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure caregivers are understood and shares her insights and guidance with her colleagues and clients alike.

Samantha is a huge asset, not only to her department and CRIS as a whole, but also to the clients she serves. We are grateful for Sam’s contributions, fresh ideas, and positive attitude. Raised in Galesburg, Illinois, Sam graduated from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign with her Bachelor of Science in Community Health and a minor in Aging in 2023 and currently lives in Champaign with her partner.
