Wonderful to see the TH65 groundbreaking finally becoming a reality. I was honored to serve as a co-author of the Senate legislation that helped move this important project forward. Thank you to Champlin Police Chief Glen Schneider and Deputy Police Chief Weston Rolf for meeting with us this morning.

We appreciated the opportunity to personally thank the outstanding officers of the Champlin Police Department for their immediate response, professionalism, and dedication to protecting our family and our community. We are deeply grateful for the courage and compassion these officers show every single day in service to others.

Today Yvette Hoffman and I visited the incredible Protez Foundation, a prosthetic and rehabilitation center dedicated to helping Ukrainian children and soldiers who have lost limbs because of war.

Since 2022, the Protez Foundation has brought countless Ukrainians to the United States for life-changing care at a time when prosthetic services inside Ukraine were nearly nonexistent. Their work restores not only mobility, but dignity, hope, and independence.

We met brave soldiers whose greatest wish is to heal and return home to their families and to continue defending Ukraine’s independence. We also met our new little friend, Mattfei, who lost his arm simply while playing outside. No child should ever endure that.

What we witnessed today was resilience, courage, and humanity at its very best. We are deeply grateful to everyone involved in this mission of healing and hope. 🇺🇦
