This Saturday, August 15, is our last Water You Doing Pop Up event of the season, from noon to 2 p.m., at Desert Oasis Aquatic Center.
The free event includes public swimming, interactive water-safety activities, and educational resources for the whole family.
See you at the pool!

Happy Independence Day!
As you celebrate with family and friends and spend time by the pool, lake, or splash pad, make water safety part of your holiday plans.
Keep these safety tips in mind:
• Designate a Water Watcher—no phones, no distractions.
• Wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or participating in water activities.
• Stay hydrated, take breaks from the sun, and never mix alcohol with swimming or boating.
• Make sure pool gates and fences are closed and locked.

A few simple precautions can make all the difference. Have a fun, memorable, and safe Independence Day!

Independence Day holiday service schedule.
July 3
Chandler Community Center, Senior Center, and Nature Center will be open from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Chandler Tennis Center will be open 6:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Tumbleweed Recreation Center (TRC) will be open from 5 a.m. - 5 p.m.

July 4
All Chandler Pools will open at Noon and close at 5 p.m.
Chandler Tennis Center, Chandler Nature Center, and Tumbleweed Recreation Center (TRC) will be closed.

Each Water You Doing Pop-up event highlights one of the ABCDs of Water Safety. Our June event focused on D for Devices, where participants learned how to properly wear, use, and ensure the correct fit of a U.S. Coast Guard-approved lifejacket.
