Our new mass notification software has finally been finalized. This system will replace our previous system CodeRed. If you receive notifications in the past, you will need to register with the new system.

This mass notification system will send automatic messages when a portion or all of your zone is placed in a Tornado Warning. When you sign up, you will also receive notifications when there is time sensitive information concerning public safety.

There are 4 zones throughout the county. Please look at the map below prior to signing up, you will be asked which zone to receive notifications for. You can sign up for the entire county if you would like. If you live in the western edge of Zone 2 or 4, you may select Zone 1 or 3, as well your home zone.

Below is the link for sign up. It will require phone number and email address. If you do not receive the email, please check your junk/spam folder.

Please feel free to reach out to our office if you have any issues signing up.

This weekend first responders from across the county attended Swiftwater Operations. This training helps strengthen response capabilities across the county and allows our county to help our neighbors in their time of need. We’d like to thank Stroud Fire Department for allowing the use of their training room for the classroom portion! We’d also like to thank Tech ResQ for putting on a great class as always and providing great training!

4/25/26 Weather Update 2

No super significant changes from the first update. The big question is how far Northwest will the warm front move. Storms will have the potential of all hazards including up to softball size hail. Tornadoes absolutely cannot be ruled out!

Stay safe Lincoln County!

4/25 @ 12:56 PM: If you see a thunderstorm today, the greatest potential for the most intense tornadoes and largest hail will be across south central into southeast Oklahoma. However, it is important to note that large hail and intense tornadoes are possible farther northwest-–the chances just decrease with northwest extent.
