Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26 at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln County Emergency Management office, located at 111 N. Sandy Ln Suite B, Chandler Ok 74834. All are welcome to attend!

LCEM has a new website, one of the things we're using it for is posting local training opportunities.

We will be hosting an ICS Mini Academy October 6-9 at our office. This academy will teach ICS-100 and ICS-200, the foundational courses for all future ICS curriculum.

We are also teaching a G-0402 ICS Overview for Senior Officials in December at the courthouse. This course is designed for private company leadership, elected officials, and other senior leaders to get a 10,000 foot overview of ICS and where they fit in the system.

As a part of preparing for disasters in our communities, the LCEM strives to bring training to our county and connect responders with other training in the area.

We had a great meeting yesterday afternoon. A total of 17 people attended the meeting, one of the biggest meetings we've had in quite some time. Our next meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

The previous chairman and vice chairman resigned their positions. Lincoln County Emergency Management Deputy Director Cody McDonell was elected to the position of Chairman. Agra Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mike Callanan was elected to the position of Vice Chairman.
