We enjoyed some really pleasant weather up in the Mormon Lake area this past weekend. Camping, hiking, a service project, totin' chip training, nature trail, great food. In addition, a solemn flag retirement for 20 flags. Dairy Springs Campground was a great setting, shared with Pack 587!

A day of service for our charter organization, Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church. Thanks go to David Arbo our Scout Master for coordinating gravel donation and delivery! Thanks also go to our adult leaders for their kind assistance. This new gravel and tidying up has really improved the appearance of the sacred Memorial Garden. Our troop member, Ryan, really stepped up and helped today while our other troop members were sick or out of town. It was a nice morning to enjoy the cooler weather as well.

Had a nice outing over the weekend, this time at The Heard Pueblo with Pack 587. We did some Service Project work, retired about 60 Flags in a solemn ceremony, and enjoyed some great food. Also said farewell to a rock formation that has created special memories over the years. All that while managing to stay cool!
