Saturday - Open with limited features
Sunday - Fully Open
Monday - Fully Open

Summer is winding down and so is our time at Tomahawk Aquatic Center for 2026! ☀️🍂

Friday (8/14) is our final day of Weekday Daytime Public Swim which is from 12-5PM. From there we will transition to weekends only for Daytime Swim (still 12-5PM) through Labor Day!

We want to take a moment to thank all of our incredible lifeguards, many of which will be returning to school in the coming weeks! We are so proud of each of you and thank you for another fun and safe summer!

Interested in becoming a lifeguard next summer and want to get a head start? We are now offering a fall Lifeguard Certification Class! 🛟

REQUIRED BEFORE REGISTRATION
Lifeguard Prerequisite Skills Check
Must be completed & passed before registering
for the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class.

Prerequisite Skills Test – August 22 at 10:30 AM
• Swim 100 yards without stopping (front crawl or breast stroke)
• Tread water for 2 minutes
• Timed brick retrieval within 50 seconds
• Vision chec

Lifeguard Certification Class
This fall before we drain the Aquatic Center, we are offering the first step in becoming a lifeguard - the American Red Cross Shallow Water certification! There will be 2 parts to this class, online videos and in-person training. All must be completed in addition to passing the certification test.

It’s almost time for Channahon's Three Rivers Festival but don’t worry, Tomahawk Aquatic Center is still open! ☀️

Come enjoy the last few weeks of summer with us before back to school and Labor Day! Just follow the signs for parking now that the front parking lot is officially closed for the week!

🤫 plus starting Wednesday, the food trucks open when our daytime swim closes, so grab a corn dog or funnel cake for dinner on your way out!
