United States Air Force Veteran, Dominique Carter is part of TEEX's Tower Technician training program. Dominique heard about the training program through Warriors 4 Wireless, a charitable organization TEEX has partnered with, to train veterans on the installation of the rapidly expanding 5G wireless network. Dominique looks forward to entering the workforce as a tower technician and seeing the views at the top of the towers. Two training locations: Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX and Aiken Technical College.

Another group of veterans successfully completed and passed the Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification in addition to the Specialist certifications in Testing CFOS/T and Wireless CFOS/W over a 2-week period of time.
The partnerships Warriors4Wireless has with contractors, The Fiber Optic Association (FOA), Aiken Technical College, and Techtricians (the training company) provides the veterans with a solid background for entry level positions in the telecommunications field.

T-Mobile donated a Base Band Unit (BBU) to the program. The cabinet will provide the program participants lab experiences they will encounter in the field.

Graduates Achieved 3 Certifications: CFOT-CFOS/T-CFOS/W.

The course helped Christopher Leon accelerate his career path and opened doors to opportunities such as overseeing communication construction sites for the Federal Aviation Administration in Alaska, New Jersey, and Mississippi.

Leslie Morris, one of W4W's sourcing managers, is sharing her stunning voice and thoughts on this Veteran's Day:

As most of my friends know, I work for a charitable organization called Warriors4Wireless whose sole purpose is to assist veterans find careers in the Telecom industry. I am beyond proud of the work we do. I have so much respect and love for our military here in the US and abroad. The sacrifices made by these men and women as well as their families is incredible. I don't get to sing very often anymore but on this special day where we honor our veterans, I want to sing the National Anthem. I've performed it many times for ball games and events, but never on social media. Thank you to each and everyone of you who have served our country faithfully. God Bless!
