Hello! My name is Marty Sarisky and I am thrilled to be Brookfield's new Band Teacher! I graduated from George Mason University in 2023 where I participated in their Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, The Green Machine Pep Band, and Jazz Ensemble. Hello! I’m Ms. Bourne, and I will be teaching 6th grade this upcoming school year. This will be my 14th year of teaching, and I am looking forward to this new adventure. I graduated from James Madison University and have spent the past 13 years teaching 5th grade at Brookfield. I am excited for the opportunity to teach our oldest Broncos and can't wait to make this a fun and successful school year!

We can't wait to welcome our Broncos back for the 2026-27 school year! Join us for the Brookfield Open House on Friday, Aug. 21, to meet your teachers, and drop off school supplies.

Because parking will be limited due to construction, Open House will take place according to the following staggered schedule:
• 12–1 p.m.: Last names A–G
• 1–2 p.m.: Last names H–O
• 2–3 p.m.: Last names P–Z

Classrooms for students in PreK through second grade will be located in the main building. Students in grades 3–6 will visit their classrooms in Broncoville. Resource tables will be available in the cafeteria, and families will have an opportunity to meet teachers and drop off school supplies.

Hi! My name is Maitland Self, and I'm so excited to be the new librarian at Brookfield! I'm a Northern Virginia native, an FCPS graduate, and a Virginia Tech alum (Go Hokies!). I've been an educator for the past 10 years, starting my career as a middle school English teacher before transitioning to the library. While I've loved working with students of all ages, being an elementary librarian is special because I get to watch students grow and discover a love of reading.

When I'm not in the library, I enjoy playing pickleball, watching soccer, and spending time with my husband and our cat, Terry. I can't wait to join the Brookfield community and meet every Bronco soon!

Hello! My name is Stacy Gough. This will be my sixth year teaching art in FCPS. I am excited to be joining the Brookfield team, and I am looking forward to meeting my new co-workers, students, and their families! I love sharing the magic of art with my students! I studied at the University of the Arts, George Washington University, and Shenandoah University. Besides art, I love being with my family, reading, travelling, and spending time with my dog!
