🟢 Start Day for Students (Grades K-12): Monday, August 24

🦃 Thanksgiving Break: Monday, Nov. 23-Friday, Nov. 27 (a full week off for students, three optional workdays for staff)

❄️ Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 21-Friday, Jan. 1, 2027

🌷 Spring Break: Monday, March 29-Friday, April 2, 2027

🎉 End Day for Students: Friday, June 11, 2027 (full day of school)

📢 Board of Education Meeting TODAY, Thursday, August 20. With Glenwood Elementary School closing after the 2026-27 school year, the Board will discuss options for the future location(s) of Glenwood’s Mandarin Dual Language and World Language programs.

🔜 Later this fall, the overall redistricting process involving all CHCCS elementary schools begins (more on that soon).

High school students/families: If you spot any issues or need a correction, just keep your eye on school-based messages (which may have gone directly to students) for the proper process.

Let's get Ready for School! 🔗 Visit our website and find “Ready for School 2026-27!” for things like supply lists, calendars and other important information.

🏫 🚌 Note: Teacher assignments, student schedules and school bus routes will be communicated this week. But if you are NEW to CHCCS or recently CHANGED YOUR ADDRESS, you may need to request bus transportation. How to do that is included in the guide.
