Celebrate Family Weekend at Carolina by visiting the iconic Wilson Library!
On Saturday, Oct. 24, visitors to the library will have the chance to see the exhibition “Witnesses to the Revolution: North Carolina and the War for Independence”. The collection is a partnership between the University Library and the North Carolina Museum of History and showcases more than 50 items illustrating how North Carolinians shaped the Revolutionary period. Curators will be present for conversations and questions.
Additionally, our newest exhibition “The Touch of Art: American Book Design 1890-1930” will be on view, and two special displays including our 509-year-old edition of The Odyssey and political memorabilia from North Carolina will also be showcased.
Visitors are also invited to see the Fearrington Reading Room, one of the most iconic spaces on Carolina’s campus.
See you on Saturday, Tar Heels!
