Today we celebrate the C&L McDougle Middle School Class of 2026! 🎓 Over the past three years, these students have grown as learners, leaders, athletes, artists, musicians, and friends. Our 7th graders had a wild time on their field trip to the zoo last week! 🦁🐒🦒From observing amazing animals up close to exploring habitats from around the world, students enjoyed a day filled with learning, discovery, and fun. A big thank you to our staff, chaperones, and zoo team for making this adventure possible! 🐾✨

Creativity, engineering, and a little bit of whimsy came together in Mr. Grigg’s 8th Grade Engineering & Design class! 🎡⚙️

Students designed and built their own whirligigs, using mechanical principles to bring their ideas to life through motion. From planning and problem-solving to construction and testing, these projects showcased innovation, perseverance, and impressive engineering skills. 🌀 Great job, Mustangs! 🦈💡 8th Grade Shark Tank Success! 💡🦈

Over the past 1.5 months, 8th grade Business Students in Ms. Morse's CTE class have been hard at work transforming creative ideas into realistic business plans.

Students researched and developed all 7 components of a professional business plan. Along the way, they applied technology and business skills learned throughout the year by creating spreadsheets, charts, graphs, financial projections, professional documents, and presentation materials.

Students had the opportunity to present their businesses to our incredible panel of Sharks: Mr. Horne, Mrs. Vasselli, Mrs. Sherrill, Officer Kennedy, and Mr. Greene. Each group confidently pitched their ideas, answered challenging questions, and defended their business decisions just like real entrepreneurs.

Thank you to our Shark panel for investing your time, expertise, and encouragement into making this experience authentic and memorable for our students!

🚨 Final Call for Volunteers! 🚨

We need your help to make the 8th Grade Dance a truly magical night for our students! We're looking for additional volunteers to assist with setup on Thursday, June 4, from 5:00–9:00 PM.

You do not need to stay the entire time—any amount of help makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to transform the gymnasium into an unforgettable celebration, and we need a few more helping hands to bring that vision to life.
