🦅 RED HAWK RISING 2026 STARTS TODAY! 🦅

Earlier this week, we shared that something BIG was taking flight at Spring Hill Middle School. Well, the wait is over!

For the FIRST TIME, our PTO has been given the opportunity to host a major school-wide fundraiser, and we're ready to make it count! This is our chance to raise the funds needed to support our students, teachers, and school throughout the year without constantly worrying about how we'll fund the next project or event!

🎯 ONE WEEK. ONE SCHOOL. ONE BIG GOAL — $20,000!

From October 23–30, we're asking our entire Red Hawk community to come together and help us make this fundraiser a HUGE success!

💙 WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?

🏀 Recess & Outdoor Fun: Yard games, balls, 9 Square, and outdoor seating!

📚 Classroom Resources: CTE drones, LEGOs, reading books, math manipulatives, and sensory supports.

🍎 Teacher & Staff Appreciation: Late-start breakfasts, meals, treats, and appreciation events throughout the year!

🎓 Student Grants: Supporting academics, arts, and athletics!

❤️ Giving Back: Supporting the D5 Foundation's SnackPack program for students in need.

🎉 AND HERE'S WHERE THE FUN BEGINS! We've got some BIG surprises and exciting school-wide rewards planned for next week as we hit our fundraising milestones! 👀

💊 START THE CONVERSATION TODAY: Lexington-Richland School District Five is hosting Shatter the Myth: Substance Use on October 27, 2026 at Irmo Middle School from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

This family event is open to all families in the district and will educate families and students of all ages on the facts about alcohol, va**ng, and drug use.

🚨 TONIGHT at Spring Hill Middle School!

We hope our Red Hawk families and community members will join us this evening for an important Town Hall Meeting with Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott!

Sheriff Lott will share his unique perspective on the choices students and families can make TODAY to help prevent negative consequences with law enforcement in the future.
