New Castle Community Media Center is looking to hire freelance videographers for weekday evening video productions (mostly government meetings & library events.).

The events take place in facilities with digital control rooms equipped with robotic cameras. The programs are broadcast Live to local television channels and streamed online.

Jobs are weeknight evenings (mostly Tuesdays starting 6 or 7pm). Event lengths vary - but each booking is guaranteed a minimum of 3 hours regardless of actual length.

Experience with robotic cameras, digital switchers, audio boards and Zoom are a plus. Ability to troubleshoot video equipment is necessary.

Tech savvy motivated learners with video experience can be trained to operate the control room.

Starting rate is $35 an hour (3 hour guarantee) - increased rate commensurate with experience.
