Well, the first annual Chardon Community Safety Day was a great start! We had many visitors stop by and participate in CPR/AED training, Stop the Bleed, and other amazing activities.

This was a wonderful event coordinated by Sarah at Saefkow Training Center, a Chardon Township resident. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

🚨 Community Safety Day is Tomorrow! 🚨

Join us tomorrow from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Chardon Township Park for an afternoon focused on safety, preparedness, and community education.

✅ Learn hands-only CPR and other lifesaving skills
✅ Get your blood pressure checked
✅ Meet a variety of public safety and community service organizations
✅ Visit with local safety vendors and experts
✅ Watch a live K-9 demonstration by the Geauga County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit

This free event is open to all ages and welcomes residents from throughout the area. Our goal is to help individuals and families learn valuable skills and gain resources that can make a difference during an emergency.

Whether you're interested in emergency preparedness, health and wellness, or simply spending time with your community, there's something for everyone.

📢 Reminder: The Board of Trustees regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at Town Hall.

A representative from Geauga Public Health will be in attendance to discuss state-mandated septic system inspections and answer questions from residents.
