Road Laborer Position-Chardon Township
Duties include but are not limited to:

*Class B CDL required; ability to obtain Class A CDL
*Perform minor repairs and maintenance and janitorial assignments *in all township buildings and equipment
*Clean and maintain all township vehicles
*Snow plowing
*Cut and trim trees and mowing
*Clean ditches and culverts
*Lay pipe and fill holes
*Erect traffic and informational signs
*Maintain Park and assist in cemetery duties
*Maintenance of township roads

It is with a very heavy heart I announce that my great friend and colleague Chuck Strazinsky passed away yesterday morning. Chuck was a man of honor and integrity and cherished his family and friends like no one I've ever met. He was a tremendous father, an incredibly skilled carpenter and the best type of person a township could ask for as a Trustee.
My deepest sympathy to Chucks four wonderful children and Mom and Step Dad. Rest in peace my friend.

We are partnering with Geauga - Trumbull Solid Waste Management District and recycling the eclipse glasses! We will have a marked location by the Chardon park pavilion for you to dispose of the glasses. The glasses will be used in other countries to safely view future eclipses. 😎🌑
