High winds started. First call was a tree blocking Wilder Rd. We made short work of it then headed over to Woodin Rd. for a large tree that fell and grazed some wires. Enough to short them out and start a fire.

Good Friday, 4 AM. Nothing on the radar then blam… heavy lake effect snow pellets. Came down so hard you could hear it on the roof. Put down this amount in about 5 minutes. Should be ok for awhile since the pavement temperature is 46. Now it's moderate lake effect. We will monitor the pavement temperatures and treat surfaces if necessary.
