USAF HAAMS Center

USAF HAAMS Center Welcome to the USAF High Altitude Airdrop Mission Support Center's official page. We post the most recent updates on HAAMS personnel and programs.

All unpressurized missions at or above 18,000 feet MSL require trained High Altitude Airdrop Mission Support (HAAMS) personnel. United States Air Force HAAMS personnel are specially trained and qualified by Air Mobility Command HAAMS, located at Joint Base Charleston, SC. Please reference AIR FORCE MANUAL 11-409 (20 November 2020) for additional information regarding HAAMS Support.

**We need YOU!**

Please see message below from our Career Field Manager:

"Fellow Airmen,
The Aerospace Physiology unit located at Joint-Base Charleston, SC is looking for motivated personnel to fill existing manning authorizations/vacancies. Specifically, they are in need of Senior Airmen.
For those of you that may not be aware, the HAAMS mission is to provide in-flight physiology support to aircrew, parachutists, and mission essential personnel performing unpressurized airdrop operations above 18,000 ft. MSL. These hard chargers support high altitude airdrop missions on an annual basis helping to train Aircrew and Special Operations Forces alike.
If you know you can be a force multiplier for the HAAMS program, please update your assignment preferences via AFPC Secure/vMPF/Self-Service Actions/Assignments/Assignment Preference/”View/Change Assignment Preferences,” and add JB-Charleston to your list.

If interested, please update your preferences NLT next Friday, 6 August.

Thank you and good luck to each of you!"
