Gianna was just 15 and preparing to turn 16 when her family received devastating news: she had Stage 4 cancer.

She was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor, a rare and aggressive cancer that has now progressed extensively throughout her body.

Her latest PET/CT scan showed significant progression, with cancer affecting areas around her abdominal organs, lymph nodes, pelvis and liver, along with concerning areas in her chest.

Gianna is now facing pain, nausea, weakness and extreme exhaustion while struggling to eat and drink enough to keep her body nourished.

Yet her family is not giving up.

Her mother, Trisha, continues to place her hope in God while praying for her daughter’s healing. She is also looking beyond their own suffering, hoping to eventually help other families facing rare childhood cancers.

The situation is serious. The diagnosis is serious. But God is still greater.

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him.”
James 5:14

Please pray for Gianna. Pray for healing, strength, comfort and wisdom for her doctors.
