Office Closure Notice – Please Plan Ahead

The Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Our offices will reopen on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

Summer Snack Program

An 11:00am snack is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.

Snack will be served at the following sites:

Orchard Manner- in the Switzer Center
(Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Address: Washington St W &, Griffin Dr, Charleston, WV 25387

South Park Village
(Mondays and Fridays)
Address: 680 South Park Road, Charleston, WV 25304.

Snacks will be provided from 11:00am to 12:00pm starting June 8th and ending on August 14th, 2026. We will be closed on June 19th and July 3rd in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.

Notice of Limited Staff Availability – April 15, 2026

Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority will be conducting mandatory staff training on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. As a result, most staff members will be unavailable for in-person visits and phone calls throughout the day.

We remain committed to serving our residents and clients; however, services will be provided at a limited capacity during this time.

If you have questions, concerns, or require assistance, please contact your assigned case worker or the appropriate department directly. Staff will respond and follow up as soon as they become available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to enhance our services through staff development.
