As winter weather brings freezing temperatures to West Virginia, warming centers are available across the state as an option for those in need of a safe, heated space. Contact your county’s non-emergency line for the latest on warming centers available in your area.

UPDATE: WVHR is operating on a 2-hour delay today, January 7, due to continued inclement weather.

Because of the weather, the WVHR call center is operating on a 2-hour delay today, January 6, and will open for business at 10:30 am. Managers are keeping an eye on the forecast and may make other changes to our operating hours throughout the day. We will keep you updated if those changes occur.

Governor Justice has issued a State of Emergency for all 55 counties. Visit your city or county social media pages or websites for information specific to your area.

UPDATED HORUS: The Call Center is closed December 30-January 1. It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. January 2. We apologize for any inconvenience.

ATTENTION: Call Center hours will look a little different over the coming weeks because of the holidays. The Call Center will be CLOSED on December 19, 20, 24, and 25 and January 1.
