There’s something special about having more than 400 West Virginia Democrats in the same room.
Saturday night, we came together for our annual Roosevelt-Kennedy Dinner to celebrate the people who make this party what it is and to look ahead to the work still to be done.
We were proud to welcome DNC Chair Ken Martin, the first sitting DNC Chair to deliver the keynote at the Roosevelt-Kennedy Dinner, and to recognize Democrats from across our state who continue to show up and do the work.
Congratulations to our 2026 honorees:
💙 Curt Zickafoose — Outstanding Democrat of the Year
💙 Judy Hamilton — Eleanor Roosevelt Democratic Woman of the Year
💙 Juan Chavarria — Young Democrat of the Year
We also celebrated County Democrats of the Year from across West Virginia and enjoyed a great night of music from The Carpenter Ants.
County leaders, candidates, volunteers, Young Democrats, elected officials, and Democrats from across the state came together exactly one month before Election Day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone across West Virginia who continues to put in the work.
None of us can do everything, but each of us can do something every day between now and November 3! 🩵
