🎉We’re pumped to share Huntington Children’s Museum’s Pumpkin Carving Contest competitors this year! Donate NOW to help your favorite carver secure additional carving time! $10 = 1 minute. Each carver may earn up to 30 extra minutes of carving time.

🎃Donate: tinyurl.com/Favpumpkin24 🎃

Then make plans to join us at The Market on Tuesday, October 15 from 6-8 pm to witness these carvers in action!

Funds raised will support programming and efforts to make the museum more accessible for all. Our Museums for All program reduces admission costs from $10 to $2 for recipients of SNAP or WIC benefits.

West Virginia's first two rounds of tax cuts have not even been fully phased in yet, and the state is already seeing historic revenue losses.

Check out this great new program in West Virginia for people interested in beginning a career in direct care to support people with disabilities and older adults!

The WV Pathways to Professional In-Home Care program is free, and accepted participants will get paid while they train. No prior experience in providing direct care is needed.

Direct care is all about lending a helping hand to those who need it. Whether it's assisting older folks, supporting people with disabilities, or helping someone recover from an illness - direct care is where you can be a superhero in real life.

I've received quite a few inquiries on the status of HB5105 which would decrease immunization requirements in West Virginia, or as WVU Medicine puts it, turn back the clock to a darker time. The bill has not been signed into law yet and the clock is running out on Governor Justice to sign the bill before it becomes law.
