Charleston FRIENDS of the Library

Charleston FRIENDS of the Library Charleston FRIENDS of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering literacy and learning in our community.

We support programs at the Charleston County Library and provide access to free and affordable books. The Charleston Friends of the Library raise money for library programs through memberships and by hosting book sales and other fundraising events. The Friends help finance programs and projects such as the Summer Reading program and Homework Help that the Library otherwise could not afford. We als

o represent the interests of patrons and provide a voice for their concerns and needs, serving as an important link between the Library and the public.
