⚓️ Fair Winds and Following Seas, MK2 Hill!⚓️

It’s time to say goodbye to MK2 Hill as he wraps up his tour aboard CGC Anvil and heads out to his next unit.

MK2 did a bit of everything on board—holding it down in the engine room as an EOW, handling business topside as a Deck Rigger, and keeping the ship secure as an OOD. He's the kind of guy who can transition from turning wrenches in the bilges to working the construction deck without missing a beat.

MK2, thanks for the hard work, the leadership, and for keeping a positive attitude through the long days. You're going to be missed around here, and your next crew is getting a top-tier MK.

Good luck at the next station. 🛠️🚢

⚓ GOLD ANCHORS PINNED. NEXT STOP: COMMAND. ⚓

It's official. Massive congratulations to BMC Powers on his well-deserved advancement to Chief Petty Officer! 🫡⚡

Chief, your performance aboard the Cutter ANVIL has been absolute gold standard. From crushing high-stakes missions to running a flawless deck, you’ve defined what it means to lead from the front. You didn't just earn the rank—you commanded it.

Now, it’s time for the next evolution. The Chief is officially departing the cutter to take full command as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) at ANT Jacksonville.

ANVIL’s loss is Jacksonville’s gain. Thank you for the unmatched work ethic, the heavy-hitting leadership, and always having the crew's back. Fair winds and following seas, Chief. Go crush it. 🌊🇺🇸
