‼️ATTENTION‼️

You would never purposely start a fire, but careless disposal of lithium-ion batteries can lead to fires in recycling and trash trucks, recycling centers, and landfills. Lithium-ion batteries should NEVER be placed in trash or recycling. Please bring these items to a staffed Convenience Center for proper disposal.

Please take a minute to watch the ‼️SAFETY ‼️ video for proper disposal of all batteries and in particular Lithium batteries. These batteries have been the source of an increase in fires in garbage trucks, at landfills and in homes when they are damaged, crushed or exposed to heat. Store in dry, cool areas and never expose to direct sunlight and heat. They should be removed properly and taken to the site attendant at the Charleston County convenience center. Thank you!

We will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th for the Labor Day holiday.
Mon/Tues/Wed garbage pick up will run one day behind regular schedule.
Thursday garbage pickup will be on REGULAR schedule.

Please have your BLUE cans out no later than 6:30 am on your pickup day. It is our pleasure to SERVE you!

We have noticed an uptick in "backwards" trash cans. Cans placed incorrectly on the curb causes broken handles, broken wheels and disappearing cans when emptied. Please be sure to have your can turned the correct way so our drivers can empty your can on your pick up day. We hate to leave you with a stinkin' can in 100 degree heat for an extra week! Thanks!
