CTF Illinois has made the difficult decision to close The Autism Program at CTF Illinois after providing services and support to local families for 18 years. Fortunately, The Autism Program in Illinois is a network of providers and services and supports are still available. Join Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) staff to learn about the wide variety of services available to all people with disabilities in the state of Illinois at IATP, and in particular two new programs, Smart Home and the Tech Kitchen. We will discuss a variety of assistive technology for the kitchen including voice control options for appliances, apps that can help with reading recipes, and adaptive kitchen tools for knife safety, heat safety, mixing, pouring, and labeling. Learn how assistive technology can make meal preparation safer, easier, and less stressful!
