A unique presentation at the Main Library you won't want to miss! Join us tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6 pm) for a World War II living military history presentation as part of our America 250 celebration.
During World War II, it is estimated that every family in Italy had at least one direct relative who now lived in America, and yet, the Italians fought as Axis forces until their surrender to the Allies in 1943. Learn about how these personal conflicts drove this pocket of World War II, as well as the general struggles of the Italian Royal Army that led to their collapse, such as poor technological advances and military unpreparedness.
