The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority is a non-profit organization created in 1977 by the Kanawha County Commission under the Emergency Services Act of 1975. Our GOAL is to enhance the quality of life for all we serve. N is a community where wellness, trust and harmony are the way of life. KCEAA employs EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses and support staff providing Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Service twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. We have 40 licensed ambulances operating out of 14 stations throughout the Kanawha Valley. We answer approximately 69,000 requests and transported approximately 62,000 patients. ‼💓Exciting Update for KCEAA's Public CPR Class 💓‼

Effective today, KCEAA will waive all fees and charges for participants of our monthly public CPR class that includes classroom instruction and hands-on experience 🆓👏

Our next class will be this Thursday, September 3rd at 5:00pm and there is a limit of 15 students per class.

KCEAA held our first-ever Team Huddle yesterday, and it was a huge success. A massive thank you to all our team members who attended in person and virtually, as well as the members of our Board of Directors who joined us.

What an incredible weekend for the KCEAA team! 🚑✨

We were honored to be out in the community for two very special events:

🍦 Operation Ice Cream 2026: We had a blast at GoMart Ballpark meeting so many of you and enjoying a sweet treat together.

🏈 Nitro Youth Football League Parade: We helped kick off the season in style! It was a thrill to be part of the parade alongside WVU legend Owen Schmitt. Good luck to all the athletes this season!
