A big thank you to the Charleston Center for visiting Waring Senior Center and providing such valuable information!

Participants had the opportunity to learn about medication safety and pick up helpful resources, including Narcan, Deterra bags for safely disposing of unused or expired medications, and safe medication storage units to help keep prescriptions secure.

This open support group offers a safe, confidential place for caregivers to share experiences, discuss challenges, learn practical strategies, and find support from others who understand.

Join us at Waring Senior Center as we partner with The Blood Connection for a mobile blood drive on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 8:30-11:30 AM.

❤️ Every donation can save up to 3 lives!
💳 All donors will receive $40 in donor rewards.

Donor Requirements:
✅ Weigh at least 110 lbs
✅ Bring a photo ID
✅ Be in generally good health

Waring and Lowcountry Senior Center are collecting items for the RSFH Community Health Annual Thanksgiving Meal Drive. Donations will be accepted at the centers now through November 6.

Donations will be distributed at the Roper St. Francis Healthcare Greer Transition Clinics in North Charleston and Moncks Corner. The Transition Clinics serve unfunded or underfunded patients who do not have a medical home.

A big thank you to the Palmetto Rose Band for providing a wonderful afternoon of music at Waring last Friday!

Members enjoyed singing along to favorite songs and reminiscing as the band performed music that brought back so many cherished memories. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and toe-tapping moments, and a great time was had by all! 🎵😊
