ShiningStars classes are designed to encourage bravery and creativity thru dramatic theater play! Classes are dynamic and fast moving.

At ShiningStars we are passionate about providing all kids with a platform to increase their confidence and expand their ability to communicate their creativity. Each child is given the support and encouragement to expand their comfort zone and improve their verbal and non-verbal communication. We're excited to have you become a part of our story. At ShiningStars we work on creativity today so that kids can develop confidence tomorrow!

Join us this summer for weekly theater FUN sessions with a final LIVE play performance! 🎭 🌟 😃

Now at Charleston REC Daniel Island, Mt. Pleasant REC, Summerville REC and Goose Creek REC in June- August.

Our goal is for children to not only learn the wonderful world of Theater, but to help them build confidence, boost their communication skills and foster creativity. All while having an incredible amount of fun! Plus, sessions will conclude with a LIVE Play Production for family and friends!

Our program strives to instill a brave, creative go for it mentality in your children that can help provide the right foundation for the rest of their lives!

Developing these life skills through our unique curriculum and in a fun and encouraging environment your little ShiningStar will be empowered to step on stage...fearlessly!

Happy Holidays from ShiningStars!

Thank you coaches, players, family and friends for an amazing year! We had so much FUN and appreciate all your support!

We hope you have a wonderful, relaxing holiday season and we can’t wait for more theater FUN in 2026!

Reminder- All classes are on a break the next 2 weeks (starting Monday, December 22nd- Sunday, January 4th), so we can all enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

Please welcome our New ShiningStars Theater Director, Clarissa Rider! 🌟 🎭 ❤️

Clarissa graduated from Converse College with a BA in Music, and from Webster University with a MA in Clinical Counseling. She participated in theater productions in high school and college, and loves encouraging children in their creative pursuits. Clarissa’s favorite thing about working with Shining Stars is seeing how the children in her class learn to channel their emotions into their characters, and how their personalities grow as they continue in classes. She is skilled at working with children who have a hard time managing strong emotions and helping them direct their energy towards creative play.
