Quiet weather continues through the end of the work week, then a cold front brings chances of showers and storms for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, isolated to scattered strong to severe storms could be possible in southeast OH and northwest WV ahead of the front.

Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. When someone close by steps in, survival chances can double or even triple.

You don’t need medical training to save a life with CPR. You need knowledge, courage and willingness to act. The power is in your hands.

June 1-7 is National CPR & AED Awareness Week ❤️

Per the American Heart Association - 70% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes. If you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love. Be the difference for your parent, spouse, or child. What if it were them?

While 911 is always here to help and guide you along the way, every second counts during a cardiac emergency.

During National CPR & AED Awareness Week, we encourage everyone to learn the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

Alcohol and Boating Don’t Mix 🍺🚤

The Belle Fire Department, Inc. reminds everyone that operating a boat under the influence is dangerous and illegal.

Boating stress—from sun, wind, and boat motion—fatigues your body quickly. Alcohol intensifies these effects, severely impairing your judgment and reaction time. When an emergency happens on the water, you need to be at your best to keep your passengers safe.

The Bottom Line: The operator must remain sober. Designate a "sober skipper" before you leave the dock.

Please make responsible choices so everyone makes it home safely.
